WEDGE Equities’ investment philosophy is simple. First, identify industries at or near the bottom of a cycle.  Then, invest in the “best in class” company or companies that have the balance sheet and reputation to survive the downturn as well as the ability to thrive in a recovery.

• Offshore Engineering and Construction
• Shipping
• Refining

Significant past investments include Service Corporation International (SCI), Pioneer Energy Services Corporation (PES), and Dawson Geophysical Company (DWSN).  They generated returns of 260%, 130%, and 190%, respectively.
